Description
NanoPyro is a Belgian company specialising in the development and
production of energetic materials and innovative processes. The new
developments are intended to make certain products compliant with the REACH
regulation, to improve the performance of the materials used to date or to
offer cheaper or more resilient materials.
Based on innovative technologies, the applications apply to the following sectors:
- Defense industry: less
toxic smokes, heavy metal-free ignition composition for ammunition,
adjuvant to improve the blast effects of explosives, combustion modifiers
for missile and rocket engines.
- Space industry: electro-
and opto-pyrotechnic initiators, combustion modifiers for rocket engine
propellants.
- Civil industry: primary
explosives without heavy metals for detonators intended for mines and
quarries.
NanoPyro also offers engineering and consulting services around these technologies for industrial plants using energetic materials.
NanoPyro's Mission
Develop and produce innovative energy materials and provide associated engineering services for applications in the defense, aerospace, and civil industries. The aim is to improve the safety, reliability and performance of energy materials used in critical contexts.

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).
Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.
Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.
In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
