Description

BDSV is the trade association that represents the interests of the German security and defence industry at national and international level. Founded in 2009, it brings together hundreds of companies (from large international groups to innovative SMEs) active in the production of equipment, services and technologies for internal security, national defence and the protection of critical infrastructure.

BDSV liaises between industry, public authorities, European institutions and strategic players, fosters international cooperation, and promotes the competitiveness and visibility of the German security and defence industry in political, media and economic forums.



The mission of BDSV

Strengthening the competitiveness, visibility and cooperation of the German security and defence industry on the national and international stage by facilitating dialogue with political decision-makers, supporting communication with the media and industry players, and coordinating information exchange and lobbying activities to address strategic and political issues in the field.

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).

Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.

Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.

 In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
