Description
The Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) brings together 118 companies representing the entire value chain of these strategic sectors in Spain. Its members include both large prime contractors and highly specialised SMEs, all of them generators of innovation, knowledge and advanced technology.
The industries integrated within TEDAE play a key role in the country’s economic, industrial and technological development. Collectively, they generate more than 75,000 highly skilled direct jobs and exceed €16 billion in annual turnover. Their strong international orientation — with 61% of sales destined for export markets — together with a significant investment effort in R&D&I, amounting to 9.1%, consolidates their position as a relevant global player.
TEDAE promotes the international presence of its member companies and acts as the sector’s representative and interlocutor before national and European public authorities, actively participating in the ASD (Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe).
With a strategic vision and a firm commitment to cooperation and technological autonomy, TEDAE works to strengthen the competitiveness of the Spanish industry and to consolidate its role as a leading technological and industrial partner in the main international defence and security programmes.
