Description

The "European Extended Mine Countermeasures" (E=MCM) project is co-funded by the European Commission within the European Defence Fund (EDF) programme and it aims to design, prototype and demonstrate a single System of Systems with unmanned autonomous toolboxes and intelligent platforms for mine-counter measures (MCM) to address the threats of drifting, tethered and buried mines. The objectives are to deliver new MCM capabilities prototypes for industrialization in the EU, as well as to improve the Detection, Classification, Localisation, Identification and Neutralisation (DCLIN) of mines and extend the reach of MCM operations.

This 36-months project is managed by the Directorate General for Defence, Industry and Space of the European Commission, and coordinated by NAVAL GROUP BELGIUM. It brings together a consortium of 21 partners from 11 Member States:

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).

Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.

Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.

 In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
