Description

Myocene is a Belgian sport technology company specialising in the objective measurement of muscle fatigue in high-level athletes. It has developed an innovative device combining electrostimulation and force sensors to assess muscle fatigue in just 90 seconds, without any voluntary effort on the part of the athlete. Its patented indicator, the Powerdex, allows sports staff to accurately quantify peripheral fatigue in the lower limbs, both on the field and in the laboratory. Authorised by the FDA, the Myocene device is already used by elite clubs and federations such as RC Lens, OGC Nice, Crystal Palace FC, LOU Rugby, the French Handball Federation, as well as several European universities.

Myocene's mission

Myocene's mission is to objectively measure muscle fatigue to help performance teams and medical staff optimise training loads, prevent injuries and speed up athletes' return to play. Thanks to scientifically validated technology and a software interface that centralises data in real time, Myocene aims to become the global benchmark tool for fatigue management in elite sport.
