IDP Shipyard is a Belgian shipyard based in the port of Ostend, specialising in the construction, maintenance and repair of commercial vessels. Founded in 1922 to support the local fishing fleet, the company gradually shifted its focus to the maintenance of technical vessels such as naval ships, police boats, pilot vessels, workboats and offshore units. With dry dock facilities and comprehensive repair capabilities, the company undertakes planned maintenance, conversion and emergency repair projects , guaranteeing a high level of technical expertise and flexibility for demanding maritime operations.

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).
Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.
Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.
In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
