Description

Calyos is a Belgian company specializing in advanced passive thermal management solutions, based in Charleroi (Jumet), Belgium. The company develops and manufactures two-phase cooling systems—heat pipes, loop heat pipes, micro-channel heat pipes, and pulsating heat pipes—that use the vaporization of a dielectric refrigerant fluid to dissipate heat without pumps or water, in a 100% passive and maintenance-free manner. Its solutions are aimed at the electric mobility, data center, embedded electronics, aerospace, and defense sectors, with customers such as Airbus, Honeywell, Valeo, ESA, Liebherr, and Alstom. In 2026, Calyos joined NATO's DIANA program and Safran Electrical & Power's OSYRYS project as part of its clean aviation initiative. The company is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Walloon Region.

Calyos' mission

Calyos' mission is to help engineers design and produce viable two-phase cooling systems for next-generation electronics. By providing its expertise in two-phase fluid physics, advanced modeling, and industrial manufacturing, Calyos is committed to providing high-performance, passive, waterless, and sustainable thermal solutions capable of meeting the growing thermal density challenges posed by modern electronics in the fields of e-mobility, high-performance computing, renewable energy, and defense.
