Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a large Indian public company specialising in defence electronics and advanced electronic systems. Founded in 1954 under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India, BEL is classified as a Navratna company (a status granted to large, high-performing public companies) and is one of the leading players in India's defence electronics industry.
Based in Bangalore (Karnataka, India), BEL has several production units spread across the country and manufactures sophisticated electronic systems for the army, navy and air force. It has also diversified into civilian sectors such as internal security, cyber security, smart city solutions, space systems, energy, transport, railway and metro solutions, and telecommunications products.
BEL also has an international network of offices and exports its equipment abroad, while participating in initiatives such as Make in India and national technological autonomy.

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).
Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.
Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.
In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
