The Walloon Region supports and promotes an ecosystem of companies specialising in defence, security, safety and critical technologies, covering a wide range of industrial, technological and service skills. This ecosystem brings together Walloon players active in cybersecurity, physical security, advanced sensors, secure communications, armaments, autonomous systems, robotics, strategic information technologies, simulation and the integration of solutions for complex operational environments.

Wallonia promotes innovative companies, R&D centres, technical SMEs and partnerships with academic institutions to strengthen competitiveness and exports in these highly specialised fields.


The mission of the Defence & Security sector (Wallonia)

To strengthen and promote an industrial and technological ecosystem of excellence in the fields of defence, security and safety by supporting Walloon companies, from SMEs to international players, in developing, promoting and exporting innovative solutions, while facilitating access to international markets, collaboration with public and private partners, and the integration of advanced technologies in critical environments.

We have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions from our visitors about our exhibition and our exhibitors.

Yes, but only on Saturday, March 14. Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13 are strictly reserved for defence and security professionals (industry, institutions, armed forces, public authorities, research and accredited media).

Visitors must be able to justify a professional activity related to defence/security: official delegations, industrial companies, subcontractors, authorities, relevant NGOs, researchers, accredited media, exhibitors’ guests.

Yes. Access is prohibited to those under 16 years of age on the professional days (Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March). On Saturday 14 March, the exhibition is also open to the general public, and access is permitted to minors under 18 years of age.

 In all cases, minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
